MINUTES
Call to Order
The Meeting was called to order at 5:40 p.m. by Chairperson Tilton. All Members and the Executive Director were present.
Minutes
The Regular Minutes from 6/7/10 and Executive Session Minutes from 6/7/2010 were unanimously approved upon a motion by Ms. Twiss and a second by Mr. Moreschi. 11-01
The Special Meeting Minutes from 6/28/10 and the Executive Session Minutes from 6/28/10 were approved by 4 Ayes and 1 Abstention upon a motion by Mr. Collier and a second by Ms. Twiss. 11-02
The Minutes from 3/1/10 were approved by 4 Ayes and 1 Abstention upon a motion by Mr. Collier and a second by Ms. Couture. 11-03
Reports
Cash Disbursements and Financial Reports through 6/30/10 were reviewed, discussed and unanimously approved upon a motion by Mr. Collier and a second by Ms. Twiss. 11-04
The GASB 45 has been completed and is being reviewed.
Unfinished Business
The status of the COA computers is still in flux.
There is still some interest in following up on the Maple St state land.
New Business
The Board would like the staff to initiate Goals for their consideration.
The Members discussed handicap toilets and other aspects of reasonable accommodations. It was mentioned that most of the tenants may not be aware that the housing authority will consider any request for a reasonable accommodation. Ms. Twiss moved to have the staff send an informational notice to all tenants about this topic. Mr. Collier seconded this motion and all agreed. 11-05
The Executive Director explained the Formula Funding Grant received of $211,426 will be given to this agency with no anticipated reduction due to our excess Cash Reserves.
There was discussion regarding utilizing Masco’s internship and community service programs.
