The Planning & Development office consists of the Planning Coordinator, a new position added in 2013, and a part time secretary. Responsibilities include performing professional and administrative duties in planning, organizing, coordinating, and administering the town's planning, land use, and development functions and activities.
NEW: DEVELOPMENT REVIEW GROUP
The Development Review Group is available to perform pre-application reviews of proposed projects. These meetings ensure that applicants are aware of the permits that they must apply for, in which order they should apply, and what they need to provide to make certain that their application(s) is complete.
NEW: ROADWAY ACCEPTANCE PROCEDURES
The Middleton Board of Selectmen adopted new Roadway Acceptance Procedures on January 14, 2014. If you are considering submitting a petition to have the Town accept a finished subdivision roadway as a public town way, please follow the procedures and timeline outlined in these procedures.
