The Planning & Development office consists of the Planning Coordinator, a new position added in 2013, and a part time secretary. Responsibilities include performing professional and administrative duties in planning, organizing, coordinating, and administering the town's planning, land use, and development functions and activities.

The proposed Stormwater Management Bylaw and Illicit Discharge Bylaw was approved by voters at the May 13, 2014 TownMeeting. This general bylaw will become effective on September 1, 2014.
