Dear Friend:
I am pleased to announce that the Middleton Police Department, Essex County Sheriff’s and Danvers State Police will be joining other local Massachusetts law enforcement agencies for our 5th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run and 4rd Annual Cruiser Convoy to raise funds to benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts. We will be working with law enforcement agencies from across the state in support of this worthy cause. It is my hope that we can count on your support for this year’s efforts.
Special Olympics Massachusetts provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community. Its success is entirely dependent on the efforts of Massachusetts’ businesses, industries and its law enforcement agencies.
