	As of January 1, 2012, the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife will only sell hunting and fishing licenses online at http://www.sport.state.ma.us/ . A fishing license is required for all fresh water fishing in Massachusetts for residents age 15 and older; and a hunting license for residents 15 and older who have taken a hunter safety education course. These may be purchased online at www.mass.gov/massfishhunt. Permits are also available for purchase by phone (with a credit card) by calling toll free 1-866-703-1925.
