The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is a five-member board that hears petitions for Special Permits, Variances, Appeals, and those projects requiring Site-Plan Review.
Persons wishing to be heard by the ZBA need to accurately and completely fill out an application (available at Inspection Department or can be downloaded above) and submit it, together with all required information, proper number of copies and a check to the Town of Middleton for the prescribed fee, to the Building Commissioner to be reviewed for completeness. If complete, it will automatically be forwarded to the Town Clerk. Applications are due 24 days prior to the next scheduled meeting and additional information submitted during the review of any project is due 7 days before the next scheduled meeting.

It is imperative that your application be complete and correct as the Board will automatically deny incomplete applications.

SITE PLAN APPROVAL CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

These completed forms are required by the Building Commissioner to close out all projects subject to Site Plan approval. Occupancy permits will not be granted until the Building Commissioner receives a completed form.
